Reviews
The Bunyip has been around for many years, as I remember going there 40 years ago and it scared the living day out of me. It has had a few face lifts since then. It is still good to see .
An experience for kids and adults alike.
The story behind Bunyip is a very good learning curve for children.
But, I'm not going to be the spoiler. As, it's interesting to read yourself.
The surrounding parks are really lovely for a walk.
Good place to go to the children. Hopefully, they don't get scared by the monster
So good for kids but it's been painted so don't look as real.its located in a lovely spot near the river with a playground and skate park across the road.
Out of order!! Dead, empty pool and 20 disappointed tourists on hand. No mention on Council's Bunyip page. Very, very annoyed. 3 grumpy kids. It takes 3 minutes to update a website. Bloomin' mullyawonks.
The bunyip needs a bit of a refresh and paintjob but the kids love it. Takes about 5 mins for it to reset every time. Area has heaps of open space, skate ramp and large playground for the kids although the playground was fenced off when I arrived. Great spot for a break or BBQ.
Was under construction the last time we went because of the flooding I think not sure but the kids always enjoy it it's close to 2 pubs restaurants and a playground skate park and dog park
Great for the kids.
Does take awhile to appear n re-appear ...
But worth it for the kids and a massive under covet playground about 200 metres away nice little spot
I drove an extra day to see this magnificent creature and I'm glad I did. It was hilarious and scary at the same time. Great river frontage park also. Lots to see including paddle steamers and historical features. Very easy access to everything for wheelchairs and people with mobility issues. Lots of great parking too
One of the 17, wonders of the world an inspiration to many children
